University of Glasgow - Graduate Apprentice Software Developer/Analyst

October 2023 - Present

I am currently a Graduate Apprentice Software Developer/Analyst working in the Student Records System Development and Infrastructure team at the University of Glasgow. I have worked on a variety of projects ranging from bespoke .NET applications to changes required for new government legislation. I mainly work with the Oracle PeopleSoft toolset, with additional time spent in .NET and security teams.

I am currently studying Software Engineering at the University of Glasgow as part of the Graduate Apprenticeship Program. I am studying courses in operating systems, networking, distributed and parallel technologies, secure software engineering, and research methods. I am also tresurer for the University of Glasgow Hacking Society, a committee member of the Technology Society and the class representative for my year group.
